Nightmare is "First in the World" when it comes to Artillery on the east coast. First deploying to the American Somoa during WW2, they fought in several battles during the island hopping campaign before deactivation following the war. They were soon reactivated to support efforts in Cuba in the 1960s, and in the 1980s became a cold-weather trained and capable unit. Nightmare’s Charlie Battery was deployed to Bierut and was the first U.S. artillery unit to fire the M198 155mm howitzer in combat.
